Located downtown Victoria BC, the BCAAFC is the umbrella association for 23 Friendship Centres throughout the Province of British Columbia. Friendship Centres provide a number of quality services to the Aboriginal communities located in an urban setting.

BCAAFC Health Initiatives

BC Aboriginal Sports, Recreation and Physical Activity

The BCAAFC is currently a member of the Aboriginal Sports, Recreation and Physical Activity Parnters Council (ASRPAPC) whose purpose is to:

"The purpose of the ASRPAPC is to fully develop, implement and provide oversight to the British Columbia Strategy on Aboriginal Sport, Recreation and Physical Activity. The intended outcome of the Strategy would be sustainable participation by Aboriginal people in sports, recreation and physical activity programs, which maximize physical, emotional and social potential and contribute to the improved quality of life of Aboriginal people in British Columbia (BC). "
