Gathering Our Voices: 2010 Provincial Aboriginal Youth Conference   

***For all those registering after MARCH 4, 2010 we are unable to guarantee the meal portions of the conference.  Reduced registration fees will be offered to all delegates unable to participate in the meal portions of the conference.***

Regular Registration Fee  $ 175.00 February 6-March 10, 2010

The BC Association of Aboriginal Friendship Centres is excited to announce that the 8th Annual Provincial Aboriginal Youth Conference Gathering Our Voices will take place March 10-13th, 2010 in Vancouver, BC at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver.

“Our Health and Our Environment”
Vancouver, British Columbia

The eighth annual Provincial Aboriginal Youth Conference will attract over 1000 Aboriginal youth from across both the Province of BC and Canada.  This year our chosen theme is “Our Health and the Environment”, and is reflected in 30+ workshops, a 40 booth Health and Education Fair, Cultural and Recreational Activities, Evening Events and Motivational Speakers.

 
The Provincial Aboriginal Youth Conference will provide up to 1,500 delegates with health and environment information, networking and leadership development opportunities, best practices strategies, tools and techniques, and culturally appropriate teachings over four days.  Youth can gather, share and learn from each other and from mentors. This is an excellent opportunity to promote healthy living in Aboriginal communities as well as providing education to Aboriginal youth on environment and climate change.

 REGISTRATION FEE $175  FROM FEBRUARY 6th, 2010 TO EVENT
There must be one (1) chaperon for every five (5) participants 14-17 years of age.
