Aboriginal Gaming Grants Support Program The Aboriginal Gaming Grants Support Program was established to increase Aboriginal access to community gaming grants programs provided by the Province of BC. The Aboriginal Gaming Grants Support Program provides resources and services to member Friendship Centres and Aboriginal not-for-profit organizations across the province. Services include:
The community gaming grants program is managed by the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch of the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General and include:
The Direct Access Fund Program has different funding categories, which each category having a distinct intake period as follows: Arts, Culture and Sport District Parent Advisory Councils and Parent Advisory Councils Public Safety Environment Human and Social Services Annual intake period for the Major Capital Project Grant Program runs from October 1 - November 30. Once received, applications are assessed within a 12 week time frame rather than held and assessed as with other funding and grant programs.
